Title XIII CORRECTIONAL AND PENAL INSTITUTIONS Chapter 221 Effective - 28 Aug 1939 221.260. Commitment from another county, expenses, how paid. — In all cases where a person is committed from another county for a criminal offense under this chapter, such county, or the prisoner, or the state, shall pay the expenses, in the same manner as if the commitment had been in the county where the offense was committed; and in civil suits, the plaintiff or defendant, or the prisoner, shall pay the expenses, in the same manner as if the imprisonment had taken place in the county where the suit commenced. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 9220) Prior revisions: 1929 § 8551; 1919 § 12576; 1909 § 1598
