Landmark signs, permitted when. — Notwithstanding any other provision of sections 226.500 to 226.600, outdoor advertising signs lawfully in existence on October 22, 1965, determined by agreement between the state highways and transportation commission and the Secretary of Transportation to be landmark signs, including signs on farm structures or natural surfaces, of historical or artistic significance may be maintained. -------- (L. 1976 H.B. 1478)
