Special license plates, issuance of not required, when. — Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, which establishes the issuance of a specialty plate, if no applications for such plate have been received within five years from the effective date of the section authorizing the plate, then the department of revenue no longer will be required to accept applications and issue such plate. -------- (L. 2007 S.B. 82)
