Title XIX MOTOR VEHICLES, WATERCRAFT AND AVIATION Chapter 302 • Effective - 28 Aug 1989 302.041. License by municipality not required. — Any person licensed to operate a vehicle may exercise the privilege thereby granted upon all highways in this state and shall not be required by any municipality or other political subdivision having authority to adopt local police regulations to obtain any other license in order to exercise such privilege, except that this section shall not be construed as depriving municipalities of the right to license, tax and regulate taxicab drivers. -------- (L. 1951 p. 678 § 302.040, A.L. 1989 1st Ex.
