Title XL ADDITIONAL EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS Chapter 630 Effective - 28 Aug 1980 630.055. Research activities by department. — From funds appropriated by the general assembly for this purpose, the department may conduct research into the causes of mental disorders, developmental disabilities and alcohol or drug abuse, into improving methods of care, treatment, habilitation and rehabilitation for persons affected by such conditions, and the stigmatizing effects on persons presently or formerly served in the department service delivery system. Insofar as practicable, the department shall make use of and cooperate with the services and facilities of the various state universities and state agencies to conduct its research. -------- (L. 1980 H.B. 1724)
