Title XLI CODES AND STANDARDS Chapter 701 • Effective - 28 Aug 1998 701.318. Laboratory analysis of lead-bearing substances — reports. — 1. The department shall develop regulations for laboratory analysis of lead-bearing substances. Such regulations shall include, but not be limited to, provisions establishing a mandatory quality assurance and quality control program. 2. All laboratories performing blood lead analyses shall be in compliance with the conditions of the federal Clinical Lab Improvement Act (CLIA). 3.
