Organization of board of trustees. — The trustees within five days after their election and qualification shall meet and organize the board by selection from among their number one to act as president of the board, one to act as treasurer of the board, and one to act as secretary of the board. The officers so selected shall hold office until the next election of trustee or trustees and until a newly constituted board of trustees after an election shall have selected their successors. -------- (RSMo 1939 § 12650)
