Title XV LANDS, LEVEES, DRAINAGE, SEWERS AND PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY Chapter 249 Effective - 28 Aug 1939 249.730. Court costs not taxed, when. — In the event of any suit at law or in equity hereafter filed against any delinquent taxpayer for the purpose of enforcing collection of any tax levied by any sewer district incorporated under the laws of this state, and in the event the petition in such suit claims an amount as penalties in excess of one-half of one percent per month and for which no use has been provided by law, in such suits it shall be unlawful to tax any court costs against such taxpayer so sued. -------- (RSMo 1939 § 12688)
