Title XVI CONSERVATION, RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT Chapter 257 Effective - 28 Aug 1959 257.130. District established, when — status and powers. — Upon payment of the costs, a vote approving the establishment of the district, and qualification of the trustees, the district shall be established as a public corporation and political subdivision of the state of Missouri, shall have perpetual existence except as otherwise provided in this chapter, and may do and perform all acts herein expressly authorized and all other acts necessary and proper for the carrying out of the purposes for which the district was created and for executing the powers with which it is invested.
