Inspection by department. — Subject to appropriations, the department of natural resources shall conduct inspections of any hazardous waste facility. The frequency of such inspections shall be specified by the commission through rule and regulation based on the classification category of the hazardous waste, as specified in section 260.370. Such inspections shall determine compliance by licensee or permittee with the requirements of sections 260.350 to 260.430 and regulations promulgated thereunder as well as compliance with any special conditions in the permit issued to the permittee. -------- (L. 1980 2d Ex.
