Payment of claims. — The director of the department of agriculture shall pay the claims of any such fair, agricultural society or exhibition coming under the terms of sections 262.450 and 262.460 on approval of the commissioner of administration if satisfied, after due investigation and proof that such fair, agricultural society or exhibition has complied with the provisions of law relating to such payments and he shall pay such claims in the same manner as in the regular accounting by said department. -------- (RSMo 1939 § 14183, A.L. 1947 V.
