Title XVII AGRICULTURE AND ANIMALS Chapter 271 Effective - 28 Aug 1939 271.230. Responsibility of collector. — The county collector shall be responsible on his bond for the faithful collection and payment into the county treasury of all moneys charged against any person in favor of the county school fund, according to the provisions of the stray law, and shall collect and account for the same in the same manner as for state and county taxes, and no property of the taker-up shall be exempt from sale in the collection of the amount with which he stands charged, till he has complied with the provisions of this chapter. -------- (RSMo 1939 § 14520) Prior revisions: 1929 § 12846; 1919 § 4336; 1909 § 837
