Title XVIII LABOR AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS Chapter 287 Effective - 28 Aug 2005 287.550. Proceedings before commission to be informal and summary. — All proceedings before the commission or any commissioner shall be simple, informal, and summary, and without regard to the technical rules of evidence, and in accordance with section 287.800. All such proceedings shall be according to such rules and regulations as may be adopted by the commission. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 3739, A.L. 2005 S.B. 1 & 130) Prior revision: 1929 § 3349 (1959) Where application for appeal from the referee specified the various findings and contended that they were unsupported by evidence, the application for appeal to the commission was sufficient notwithstanding the sole question related to the extent and nature of the disability of the employee.
