Title XVIII LABOR AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS Chapter 290 • Effective - 05 Nov 2024, see footnote 290.636. Employers may provide additional sick leave benefits — employer compliance with collective bargaining agreements. — 1. Nothing in sections 290.600 through 290.642 shall be construed to discourage or prohibit an employer from the adoption or retention of an earned paid sick time policy more generous than the one required herein. 2. Nothing in sections 290.600 through 290.642 shall be construed as diminishing the obligation of an employer to comply with any contract, collective bargaining agreement, employment benefit plan, or other agreement providing more generous paid sick time to an employee than required herein. Nothing in sections 290.600 through 290.642 shall be construed as diminishing the rights of public employees regarding paid sick time or use of paid sick time as provided in the laws of Missouri and ordinances of political subdivisions pertaining to public employees. ­­-------- (L. 2024 Adopted by Initiative, Proposition A, November 5, 2024)
