Advertising requirements. — Every advertisement by a licensee soliciting or advertising business shall contain the licensee's name, city, and state as it appears in the records of the board. No individual or business can advertise as a private investigator, private detective, private investigator agency, private fire investigator, or private fire investigator agency without including their individual or agency license number in the advertisement. A licensee shall not advertise or conduct business from any Missouri address other than that shown on the records of the board as the licensee's principal place of business unless the licensee has received an additional agency license for such location after compliance with the provisions of sections 324.1100 to 324.1148 and such additional requirements necessary for the protection of the public as the board may prescribe by regulation. A licensee shall notify the board in writing within ten days after closing or changing the location of a branch office.
