Waiver of examination and education requirements by the board, when. — On receipt of an application and application fee, the board may waive the examination and educational requirements for an applicant who at the time of application: (1) Is appropriately licensed or certified by another state, territory or possession of the United States, if the requirements of such state, territory or possession for the license or certificate are substantially equivalent to the requirements of sections 324.125 to 324.183 as determined by the board; or (2) Holds a current certificate as a certified clinical perfusionist initially issued by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, or its successor, prior to August 28, 1997. -------- (L. 1997 S.B. 141 § 24, A.L. 2002 H.B. 1937)
