Title XXII OCCUPATIONS AND PROFESSIONS Chapter 333 Effective - 28 Aug 1981 333.031. Application for license — fees — examination. — Each application for a license to practice either embalming or funeral directing shall be in writing, addressed to the board, on forms prescribed, verified and shall contain such information as is required by the board. The application shall include a statement that it is made under oath or affirmation and that its representations are true and correct to the best knowledge and belief of the person signing same, subject to the penalties of making a false affidavit or declaration. Each application shall be accompanied by an embalming fee or funeral directing fee. Any applicant for both a license to practice embalming and to practice funeral directing shall pay both fees. If any applicant for a license to practice embalming or funeral directing fails to pass the examination given by the board, he may be given other examinations upon payment of a reexamination fee. ­­-------- (L. 1965 p. 522 § 3, A.L. 1981 S.B. 16)
