Title XXIV BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Chapter 361 • Effective - 28 Aug 2024 361.1023. Criminal penalties. — 1. A person that intentionally makes a false statement, misrepresentation, or false certification in a record filed or required to be maintained under sections 361.900 to 361.1035 or that intentionally makes a false entry or omits a material entry in such a record is guilty of a class E felony. 2. A person that knowingly engages in an activity for which a license is required under sections 361.900 to 361.1035 without being licensed under sections 361.900 to 361.1035 and that receives more than five hundred dollars in compensation within a thirty-day period for this activity is guilty of a class E felony. 3. A person that knowingly engages in an activity for which a license is required under sections 361.900 to 361.1035 without being licensed under sections 361.900 to 361.1035 and that receives no more than five hundred dollars in compensation within a thirty-day period for this activity is guilty of a class A misdemeanor. ­­-------- (L. 2024 S.B. 1359)
