Penalties. — Any person who knowingly violates any provision of this chapter or of any law of this state relating to the business of a financing institution in this state without a license therefor except as provided in this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by confinement in the county jail for not more than six months or both. -------- (L. 1963 p. 463 § 7)
