Title XXIV BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Chapter 379 • Effective - 01 Jan 2012, see footnote 379.1535. Violations, director's authority. — If the director determines that a person has engaged, is engaging in, or has taken a substantial step toward engaging in an act, practice, or course of business constituting a violation of sections 379.1500 to 379.1550 or rule adopted or order issued thereunder, or that a person has materially aided or is materially aiding an act, practice, omission, or course of business constituting a violation of sections 379.1500 to 379.1550, or a rule adopted or order issued thereunder, the director may: (1) Issue such administrative orders as authorized under section 374.046; or (2) Maintain a civil action for relief authorized under section 374.048. ­­A violation of sections 379.1500 to 379.1550 or rule adopted or order issued thereunder is a level two violation under section 374.049. ­­-------- (L. 2011 S.B. 132) Effective 1-01-12
