Title XXIV BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Chapter 379 • Effective - 28 Aug 1939 379.205. Mutual companies other than life and fire insurance. — A number of persons, not less than twenty-five, a majority of whom shall be bona fide residents of this state, by complying with the provisions of sections 379.205 to 379.310*, may become together with others who may hereafter be associated with them or their successors, a body corporate for the purpose of carrying on the business of mutual insurance as herein provided. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 5950) Prior revisions: 1929 § 5839; 1919 § 6249 *Section 379.310 was repealed by S.B. 262, 1967.
