Title XXIV BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Chapter 379 • Effective - 28 Aug 1939 379.225. Company to have legal existence from date of certificate — insurance in force, when. — 1. The company shall have legal existence from and after date of such certificate. 2. The board of directors named in such articles may thereupon adopt bylaws, accept applications for insurance, and proceed to transact the business of such company; provided, that no insurance shall be put into force until the company has been licensed to transact insurance as provided by sections 379.205 to 379.310*. 3.
