Title XXV INCORPORATION AND REGULATION OF CERTAIN UTILITIES AND CARRIERS Chapter 388 • Effective - 28 Aug 1939 388.110. Ineligibility for office. — It shall be unlawful to elect or appoint any person to any office of profit or trust, or for such person to hold such office or appointment, in any railroad corporation established by any law of this state, who is a stockholder, owner or part owner of any express, dispatch, fast freight or transportation company, whether incorporated or not, which has for its object, or one of its objects, the shipment of freight or transportation of persons over said railroad, or any railroad in direct connection therewith, or who is in any way pecuniarily interested in any company or copartnership formed for any such or like purpose; and all persons interested in aforesaid are hereby declared ineligible for any such office or appointment. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 5146) Prior revisions: 1929 § 4673; 1919 § 9863; 1909 § 3062
