Title XXVI TRADE AND COMMERCE Chapter 409 • Effective - 28 Aug 1985 409.828. Penalties. — 1. Any person who willfully violates any provision of sections 409.800 to 409.863 shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than twenty thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than ten years, or both, for each such violation. 2. The commissioner may refer such evidence as is available concerning violations of sections 409.800 to 409.863 to the attorney general or the proper prosecuting attorney, who may, with or without such a reference from the commissioner, institute the appropriate criminal proceedings under sections 409.800 to 409.863. ­­-------- (L. 1985 H.B. 409 & 532 § 12)
