Title XXXI TRUSTS AND ESTATES OF DECEDENTS AND PERSONS UNDER DISABILITY Chapter 473 Effective - 28 Aug 1955 473.383. Claims not due, proceedings. — The court may allow any claim filed against an estate, which is payable at a future day, at the then present value thereof, or the court may order the executor or administrator to retain in his hands sufficient funds to satisfy the same upon maturity; or if the heirs, devisees, or legatees offer to give bond to a creditor for the payment of his claim according to the terms thereof, the court may order the bond to be given in satisfaction of such claim. ­­-------- (L. 1955 p. 385 § 146)
