Title XXXII COURTS Chapter 486 Effective - 28 Aug 1957 486.120. Effect of authentication by commissioner. — An acknowledgment or proof so taken according to the laws of this state, and certified to by any such commissioner, under his seal of office, if there is one annexed to or endorsed on the instrument, has the same force and effect as if the same had been made before a judge or associate circuit judge, or any other officer authorized to perform the act in this state. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 13384, A.L. 1957 p. 351) Prior revisions: 1929 § 11762; 1919 § 2140; 1909 § 2703
