Title XXXII COURTS Chapter 486 • Effective - 28 Aug 2020 486.660. Prohibited acts. — A notary shall not: (1) Execute a notarial certificate containing information known or believed by the notary to be false; (2) Affix an official signature or seal on a notarial certificate that is incomplete; (3) Affix an official signature or seal on a notarial certificate other than at the time of notarization and in the presence of the principal; or (4) Provide or send a signed or sealed notarial certificate to another person with the understanding that it will be completed or attached to a document outside of the notary's presence. ­­-------- (L. 2020 H.B. 1655)
