Provisions of sections 491.675 to 491.693 not to apply where defendant has waived right to counsel — exceptions. — Where a defendant has waived the right to counsel and elected to represent himself, the provisions of sections 491.675 to 491.693 shall not apply, except in the discretion of the court, under such rules, procedures and restrictions as the court may, in the interests of justice, impose. ­­-------- (L. 1985 H.B. 366, et al. § 12) Effective 7-19-85
