Title XXXIII EVIDENCE AND LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTS Chapter 492 • Effective - 28 Aug 1939 492.300. Adverse party may take depositions by giving notice, when. — When the party causing depositions to be taken under a notice shall have completed the taking thereof, the adverse party may, before the same or any other officer authorized to take depositions, and at the same place, proceed immediately, or on the next day, to take any depositions he may desire to have read in the cause, and may continue the taking thereof from day to day, at said place, and between the hours specified in the notice, until he shall have taken all he desires; but in order thereto, he shall, before or during the time of the taking of the depositions on behalf of the other party, give such other party, or the attorney representing him, notice of his intention to do so, and of the person before whom he proposes to take such deposition. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 1942) Prior revisions: 1929 § 1778; 1919 § 5465; 1909 § 6409
