Certificate of corporation shares held, to be furnished, when. — When an execution shall be issued against any person, being the owner of any shares or stock in any bank, insurance company or other corporation, it shall be the duty of the cashier, secretary or chief clerk of such bank, insurance company or other corporation, upon the request of the officer having such execution, to furnish him with a certificate, under his hand, stating the number of rights or shares the defendant holds in the stock of such bank, company or corporation, with the encumbrance thereon. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 1345) Prior revisions: 1929 § 1181; 1919 § 1632; 1909 § 2201
