Order of sale, to whom delivered, return — disposition of proceeds. — The order of sale, when made in vacation, shall be delivered to the clerk of the court and filed in the cause; and the clerk shall deliver to the officer having charge of the property a copy of every order of sale, whether made in term or vacation; and such officer shall make return thereof to the court, at such time as shall be expressed in the order, showing how he has executed the same; and the proceeds of such sale shall be paid into court or otherwise disposed of as the court or judge may order. -------- (RSMo 1939 § 1465) Prior revisions: 1929 § 1301; 1919 § 1752; 1909 § 2321
