Planting a bomb or explosive in or near a bus or terminal — penalties. — 1. A person commits the offense of planting a bomb or explosive in or near a bus or terminal if he or she bombs, plants, or places any bomb or other explosive matter or thing in, upon, or near any terminal or bus, wherein a person or persons are located or being transported, or where there is being stored, shipped or prepared for shipment, any goods, wares, merchandise or anything of value. The offense of planting a bomb or explosive in or near a bus or terminal is a class A felony. 2. Any person who threatens to commit the offense of planting a bomb or explosive in or near a bus or terminal shall be guilty of a class D felony. 3.
