USDA regulations and standards, compliance with required — death of animal, notification of department required. — 1. Any person who owns, possesses, breeds, or sells a large carnivore shall adhere to all United States Department of Agriculture regulations and standards. 2. Upon the death of a large carnivore, the owner shall notify the state department of agriculture of such death within ten business days.
