17-7-103. Governor chief budget officer -- appointment of budget director. (1) The governor shall be the chief budget officer of the state and shall appoint a budget director who shall hold office at the pleasure of the governor and perform the duties assigned by law or by the governor. (2) The budget director may appoint a chief assistant and may employ such other personnel as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter. History: (1)En.
