§ 22-3-807

22-3-807. Nondisclosure of records. (1) The state historic preservation officer, in consultation with the board, shall maintain burial site records that are separate and distinct from those in the cultural resource registry and that are necessary to administer this part. (2) Burial site records are confidential and available only to criminal justice agencies or to federal, state, and tribal personnel or their appointed representatives legally charged with administering laws protecting cultural resources. (3) Statistical information compiled from burial site records must be made available to the general public. Any information concerning burial site records that is released to a criminal justice agency is confidential criminal justice information, as defined in 44-5-103, and is subject to dissemination pursuant to 44-5-303.
