23-1-129. Reserved camp sites -- limits. (1) Except as provided in subsection (3), no more than 80% of all available campsites may be reserved in a state park, recreational area, or public camping ground with overnight camping. (2) This section applies to all state parks, recreational areas, and public camping grounds under the jurisdiction of the department as provided in 23-1-102 or the board as provided in 23-1-106 and 23-1-111, including fishing access sites if the site allows for overnight camping. (3) This section does not apply to a river system where camping opportunity is limited to designated float-in sites only. History: En. Sec. 1, Ch. 380, L. 2023.
