30-13-144. Sale of sound recording without name of manufacturer and name of performer or group prohibited. (1) No person may advertise, offer for sale or resale, sell or resell, or distribute or possess for such purposes any sound recording unless the outside cover, box, or jacket clearly and conspicuously discloses the name and address of its manufacturer and the name of the performer actually producing the sounds recorded. (2) A person convicted of violating this section shall be fined no more than $500 or be imprisoned in the county jail for any term not to exceed 6 months, or both. History: En.
