§ 30-13-212

30-13-212. Filing application for reservation of assumed business name -- issuance of certificate. The applicant shall complete and submit an application for reservation of an assumed business name and all applicable fees to the secretary of state. If the secretary of state finds the application complies with the provisions of this part, the secretary of state shall: (1) endorse on the application the word 'filed' and the date on which the application was filed; (2) file the application in the secretary of state's office; and (3) issue a certificate of reservation to the applicant.
