30-13-218. Execution constituting affirmation -- penalty -- warning. (1) The execution of any document required to be filed with the secretary of state under this part constitutes an affirmation, under the penalties of false swearing, by each person executing the document that the facts stated in the document are true. (2) The secretary of state shall provide for the printing of a warning to this effect on each form prescribed by the secretary of state under this part. History: En. Sec. 1, Ch. 174, L. 1983; amd.
