33-1-1201. Short title -- purpose. (1) This part may be cited as the 'Insurance Fraud Protection Act'. (2) The purpose of this part is to facilitate the detection of insurance fraud and reduce the occurrence of insurance fraud through the development of fraud prevention programs, improved investigative and prosecutorial services, and increased consumer awareness.
