33-17-217. Limitations and rights under temporary license. (1) The commissioner may not issue more than one temporary license, to or with respect to the same individual to be licensed, within any 12-month period. (2) The temporary license may cover the same kinds of insurance for which the insurance producer being replaced was licensed. (3) As to a temporary insurance producer's license issued on account of the death or disability of an insurance producer, the licensee may represent all of the insurers last represented by the deceased or disabled insurance producer, but the licensee may not be licensed for an additional kind of insurance under the temporary license.
