§ 33-23-225

33-23-225. Application -- exclusion. (1) The provisions of 33-23-221 through 33-23-226 apply to a telematics agreement entered into between a policyholder and an insurer. (2) The provisions of 33-23-221 through 33-23-226 do not apply to a manufacturer of a motor vehicle or supplier of an aftermarket device or services or to its respective subsidiaries or affiliates that embed in or provide a recording device for a motor vehicle as long as the manufacturer or supplier or the respective subsidiaries or affiliates is not acting as an insurer.
