33-31-222. Governing body. (1) The governing body of a health maintenance organization may include providers or other individuals, or both. (2) The governing body shall establish a mechanism to give the enrollees an opportunity to participate in matters of policy and operation through the establishment of advisory panels, by the use of advisory referenda on major policy decisions, or through the use of other mechanisms.
