35-4-501. Merger and consolidation. A professional corporation may merge or consolidate with another corporation, domestic or foreign, only if every shareholder of each corporation is qualified to be a shareholder of the surviving or new corporation. If the surviving or new corporation will render professional services in this state, it shall comply with this chapter. History: En. Sec. 19, Ch. 399, L. 1983.
