37-16-103. Exemptions. This chapter does not apply to a person who is: (1) a physician licensed to practice by the state board of medical examiners; (2) engaged in the practice of fitting prescription hearing aids if the person's practice is part of the academic curriculum of an accredited institution of higher education or part of a program conducted by a public agency; or (3) licensed as an audiologist under the provisions of Title 37, chapter 15.
