§ 37-42-101

37-42-101. Purpose. It is declared that the health and welfare of Montana citizens are jeopardized by persons not properly qualified to operate the water supply systems and that Montana's state waters are endangered by persons not properly qualified to operate the wastewater treatment plants. It is declared that the public policy of this state is to protect the public health and safety by certifying persons working in these occupations. History: En.
