§ 37-54-303

37-54-303. Classes of certification -- education and experience requirements. (1) A real estate appraiser may be certified in one or both of the following classes: (a) general real estate, which relates to the appraisal of all types of real property; (b) residential real estate, which relates to the appraisal of expensive or complex 1 to 4 family homes. (2) The board shall adopt rules pertaining to real estate appraisal education and experience that are at least as stringent as those required for compliance with Title XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989.
