(1) Rehabilitation services are required for disabled workers and may be initiated by: (a) an insurer by designating a rehabilitation provider; or (b) a disabled worker through a request to the department. The department shall then require the insurer to designate a rehabilitation provider. (2) Rehabilitation services provided under this part must be delivered through a rehabilitation counselor certified by the commission on rehabilitation counselor certification. History: En.
