(1) Pursuant to subsection (3), the department of labor and industry shall establish criteria to certify that the funds raised by community service organizations are eligible for matching funds from an insurer. (2) Money raised by community service organizations to pay travel expenses for a catastrophically injured worker pursuant to this section may not be used by community service organizations to require matching funds by an insurer in an amount greater than $2,500 for each catastrophic injury.
