41-3-109. (Temporary) Proceedings subject to Indian Child Welfare Acts. If a proceeding under this chapter involves an Indian child, as defined in the federal Indian Child Welfare Act, 25 U.S.C. 1901, et seq., or 41-3-1303, the proceeding is subject to the federal Indian Child Welfare Act and the Montana Indian Child Welfare Act provided for in Title 41, chapter 3, part 13. (Terminates June 30, 2025--sec. 55, Ch. 716, L. 2023.) 41-3-109. (Effective July 1, 2025) Proceedings subject to Indian Child Welfare Act.
